Welcome to Frant School. Please enjoy looking around our website.

We are a Voluntary Controlled Church School, proud to be a part of a thriving village community. ‘Voluntary Controlled’ means that whilst the church was instrumental in establishing a school in Frant (and indeed still has strong links with the school) responsibility for the everyday running of the school lies with East Sussex County Council.
Our intake per annum is 15, as we are half form entry. We consist of 4 classes, ranging from reception to year 6. Each of our classes are named after trees found in our countryside.
Chestnut Class - Reception (age 4 and 5)
Willow Class - Key Stage 1: year 1 (ages 5 to 6)
Beech Class - Key Stage 1: year 2 (ages 6 to 7)
Hazel Class - Lower Key Stage 2: years 3 and 4 (ages 7 to 9)
Oak Class - Upper Key Stage 2: years 5 and 6 (ages 9 to 11)
We are now federated with Mark Cross, Five Ashes and Mayfield and are known as The Weald Federation. Mrs Challis and Miss Warren are Acting Executive Headteachers for The Weald Federation. Mrs Challis is Acting Headteacher at Frant supported by Mrs Davey who is Acting Deputy Head.
Our Vision
Train up a child in the way they should go and when they are old they will not depart from it. Prov XXII v.6
